They've also just pulled off another masterstroke by signing up the show designed to be Friends' direct replacement The Big Bang Show to the platform on a big money deal too (worth over a billion dollars).

Warner Bros' HBO Max is designed to bring together content from HBO, Warner Bros, and The CW primarily. That means one place for the likes of Veep, The Larry Sanders Show, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, retty Little Liars, the upcoming Batwoman and the entire Arrowverse,

One of the biggest selling points for HBO Max could well be thanks to the long-standing relationship between HBO and the BBC, which means that Doctor Who, The Office UK, Luther and Top Gear will be on there, if you like that sort of thing.

The service is also unveiling original programming, like the untitled Gossip Girl sequel and Gremlins and Dune spin-offs.
