The Walking Dead: 10 Outrageous Comic Moments That Won't Be Used

1. Killing The Baby

The Walking Dead in both its versions has killed all manner of characters so far: men and women; heroes and villains; the young and the old. Only the comics though, so far at least, has gone down the road of infanticide.

With Rick and co. losing the battle at Woodbury, they make a run from the Governor and his forces, with Lori holding baby Judith in her arms. It’s here when the series goes darker than perhaps anyone thought it would, as Lori is hit from behind and falls forward, dying in the process but also smothering and killing her baby girl.

For some reason, the show may not want to replicate that particular moment. Can’t imagine why. Judith has had the bad luck of being born into this world, but it’s hard to believe the showrunners would really go so far as to kill her off as an infant. The fact Lori is already dead means this exact circumstance isn’t possible, but with plenty of other attacks on the way there will be lots of opportunity to do it in some way.

Never say never, but in this case maybe say almost definitely not ever.
