4. It Didn't Use All Of Its Weapons Straight Away

Moving away from individual characters and towards the overall show, the creators did a good job in the fact that they didn't blast us all with the Wolves straight away. Hopefully they're fierce group who last a long time, and if that's the case, then a slow buildup could be well worth it. Walkers were back to being the main threat, and when you have thousands of undead zombies honing in on Alexandria, the show didn't need the complication of the Wolves in the Premiere. They will arrive soon, but for now, if the creators are focusing on walkers, that's more than fine. There's plenty in the tank for the show despite having five seasons in the bag already.
