1. Hank's Happiness

Look, Hank Hall has been through a lot in very few episodes, so for that reason alone, it was wonderful to see him so happy. But it was hard to get fully invested in his light-hearted humour when it felt very, well, odd.

The character may not have appeared all that often in Season 1, but we were all very aware of the fact that he struggled with addiction in both the past and present, and that the only source of light for him amidst all that darkness was Dawn Granger. Thus, the question remains: Why was Hank so overwhelmingly happy in 'Aqualad' when Dawn was in a relationship with Dick?

Of course, this all could have been explained with a line of dialogue, but the fact of the matter is that it wasn't. And other than spouting a few rather funny quips, Hank had no real role in the episode. This made his sudden light-heartedness feel unfounded and unusual.

Now, for the positives...
