6. Filling In The Gaps

First and foremost, it must be said that it was great to finally get some answers as to what really went on between the original Titans. For weeks, the show has been teasing us with how things went very wrong for the once-hopeful troop of superheroes and yet never fully explained why.

'Aqualad' was a welcome addition to the season, as it finally shed some light on that mystery, revealing how Deathstroke crossed paths with the Titans and the cost that it ultimately came with. For that reason alone, it may just be this season's most important episode yet - and the fact that the credits rolled on an open-ended note suggests that we're not quite done getting answers from the past. And after this episode, that is certainly a good thing.
