Watchmen TV Show - 10 Theories From The New Teaser

Before any of the press releases of the incoming series, trying to make sense of the metal masked individual who appears towards the end of the trailer was close to impossible - with rumours rising that they were everything from a follower of a Dr. Manhattan based cult, to that they were leading another faction of the series.

With the reveal that the face under the mask belongs to that of Tim Blake Nelson, who is currently signed on to play the role of an individual known as 'Looking Glass'.

Looking Glass is supposed to be a police interrogation expert, who is affectionately referred to in his short description as 'a bit of a sociopath'.

This in mind, the flashing images of soldiers, atomic bombs, the moon landing - and, for some reason, cowboys - appear to be either some sort of interrogation technique, or straight-up brainwashing. Regardless of which you choose to interpret it as, it's clear that the character is going to be behind some weirder and wilder moments of the series.
