As great as Young Justice: Outsiders proved to be, it isn't just the high standard that will bring smiles to the faces of its fans - it's the simple fact that the show is back on our screens. We shouldn't overlook how monumental its return is because, at one point, it seemed like we truly had seen the end of it.

However, despite its unjust cancellation in 2013, the fans persisted, constantly making their voices heard through various online campaigns and endless binge-watching of the show on Netflix. Eventually, it proved to be enough and pushed DC to revive the show.

Of course, there were still concerns about its return, with many worried that it had simply been too long or that Season 3 wouldn't be up to scratch. But this is were 'Outsiders' comes in. The standard of writing and development that was showcased throughout those first three episodes was reminiscent of the show's first run - proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that Young Justice is back with a bang.

After all these years we can finally say those famous words: "Today is the day". All the hard work paid off and Young Justice has returned strong - and if it continues to produce episodes like the first three of 'Outsiders', then it may just be better than ever.
