10 Times Feet Were Better Than Fists Inside Of The Octagon
6. Vitor Belfort Vs. Luke Rockhold (UFC On FX 8)
As Strikeforce's last ever Middleweight Champion, there's absolutely no denying that Luke Rockhold was a tough dude.
But, when he found himself going toe-to-toe with one of the deadliest men in MMA - and serial drug test failure - Vitor Belfort on his first night as a UFC employee at UFC on FX 8, he can't have been expecting an easy day in the office.
True to form, Belfort kept the pressure up on Rockhold and thanks to the pre-fight weigh-in antics - involving Rockhold getting in the Brazilian's face - you knew it would only be a matter of time before 'The Phenom' let rip on the cocky new kid.
After Rockhold had over-exuberantly thrown a misguided head kick of his own - not exactly adding fuel to the argument of this list - Belfort proceeded to out-strike the newcomer before landing a spinning heel kick which looked as though it was forged from the depths of hell.
Rockhold was... well... rocked and hit the deck hard. Belfort then continued to beat down his adversary until he was dragged away for the KO win.
The finish would go on to earn the coveted Knockout of the Year award for 2013 and - regardless of the guy who threw it - made the use of fists look insignificant in comparison.
