UFC: 10 Embarrassingly Awful Nicknames MMA Fighters Actually Used

2. Scott "Tickle Fight" Thometz

Is tickling actually legal in MMA? It seems like someone would have tried it by now if it was. Legal or not, Scott "Tickle Fight" Thometz decided to make it part of his nickname.

While tickling may be popular in certain fetish circles, it isn't something a cage fighter should use to market themselves. Fans want to see hard-hitting action when they attend a mixed martial arts event —not a tickle fight.

Thometz, who has previously competed in Bellator MMA, is a fairly exciting athlete. Having a moniker that conjures up images of a dull, low impact type of contest is a bad idea for any fighter.
