Can Covington conquer for the former champion and earn the title shot that has alluded him?

We've got some welterweight action in the main event of UFC on ESPN 5, as Colby Covington takes on Robbie Lawler in what should be an extremely entertaining fight. Covington has his sights set on Kamaru Usman's title and an impressive victory over Lawler will secure that shot. The pressure is on for Covington, who has talked up a storm in the lead-up to the fight. The American Top Team product will looking to back up every word that he has said and walk out with the win.

Lawler has already played the part of the Cinderella Man once and a win could give him the chance to do it again. But can he land the knockout blow that has won him so many fights during his career? If he has any hopes of regaining the 170lb strap he'll need to land one of his famous punches against Covington.

We've also got throwback fight in the co-headliner, as UFC mainstays Jim Miller and Clay Guida do battle in a lightweight fight. Plus, a very entertaining match-up between Brazilian knockout artist Joaqiuim Silva and talented prospect Nasrat Haqparast.

6. Darko Stosic Vs. Kennedy Nzechukwu

Out of all the prospects in the UFC's 205lb division, Darko Stosic and Kennedy Nzechukwu are probably on the lower end of the spectrum. Although they're both physical specimens with plenty of power, their past appearances inside the Octagon left a lot to be desired.

Stosic lost his UFC debut to Devin Clark, who at best is a mid-level light heavyweight. Nzechukwu showed glimpses of his skill and power when he fought Paul Craig, knocking the Scotsman down repeatedly throughout the fight. However, a lack of fight IQ during the final round of the fight meant that he got caught with a last ditch triangle choke.

Although their performances were less than exciting, it's safe to say that Nzechukwu seemed like the better fighter out of the two. He's got some skill on the feet and as long as he can avoid the takedown when facing Stosic, he should be able to land at will and possibly put the Serbian away.
