UFC's 5 Biggest Winners And Losers In November

9. Stock Up: Darren Till

One of the things that make mixed martial arts such an exciting sport to follow is how quickly a fighter can turn their career around.

Last March, after suffering a brutal knockout loss in his home country at the hands of Jorge Masvidal, it appeared the Darren Till hype train had been derailed. The loss to Masvidal marked the 26-year-old's second consecutive defeat. Moreover, the result prompted UFC President White to proclaim that the promotion 'might have pushed him a little too soon.'

However, on 2 November, 'The Gorilla' changed the narrative in a big way and regained a great deal of momentum in the process.

After moving up to middleweight, as a betting underdog, the Liverpool native defeated Kelvin Gastelum (the #4 ranked middleweight at the time) at UFC 244 via hard-fought decision.

Since the fight with Gastelum, Till has been called out by, and verbally agreed to take on, former middleweight champ, Robert Whittaker. Assuming the bout happens, if Till can get past Whittaker, he'll likely earn his second UFC title shot.
