10 Best TNA Matches Of All Time

1. Christopher Daniels Vs AJ Styles Vs Samoa Joe - Unbreakable 2005

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9-azR3pLkI Still the only TNA match to be awarded Dave Meltzer's elusive five star rating, this match can be seen as a perfect little microcosm of the style aspired to by the promotion. The action is consistently fast and furious, with none of the three men falling behind the pace or allowing themselves to be overshadowed by the brilliance of the others. Rather than take the easy way out and work a standard triple threat style - in which one man is incapacitated for a while to allow the other two a mini-singles match - the trio try to incorporate as much true three-way action as possible. The action comes so thick and fast it's actually hard to watch at times, so difficult is it to take in the awesome impact of each move without being left behind by the next perfectly executed spot. It fully deserves both its five stars and a place atop this list of the best TNA matches ever. Ultimately, AJ would pick up the win with a bridging reversal of Daniels' angel's wings finisher, winning the X Division Championship in the process. It was a smart piece of booking, allowing Samoa Joe to maintain his undefeated streak without saddling him with the expectations of the belt too soon in his TNA career (although nobody would really have complained with any of the three competitors winning this match, such was the brilliant effort put forward on all accounts). It is quite simply TNA action at it's very peak.
