4. Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey
Another match that already looks to be set in stone, it’s time WWE gave us the contest they should have given us three years ago.
Becky Lynch’s rise as ‘The Man’ ruined Vince McMahon’s dream of Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey, which he perceived as the money match for WrestleMania 35. Rousey was never meant to turn heel, but Lynch’s rejected villainous turn drew such a groundswell of support, the WWE Universe only wanted to see one woman make history in the 'Mania 35 main event.
But Vince has gotta Vince, and Charlotte Flair gate-crashed the main event, and some of Becky’s fire was extinguished in an overbooked feud leading to the match.
Rarely do WWE get a chance at a do-over, but with Flair and Rousey having a tame match at this year’s Showcase of the Immortals, the stage is set for Lynch and Rousey to finally deliver what fans have been waiting for.
The table is already being set, with both characters seemingly switching alignment at SummerSlam. Come WrestleMania Season, expect either one of them to be a champion, one of them to win the Royal Rumble, and for these two superstars to finally clash in a match four years in the making.
