10 Former WWE Stars Who Must Return For One More Match

8. Ken Shamrock

Why It Should Happen: The World's Most Dangerous Man was a big part of the WWE's most successful era. Before Kurt Angle and the like, he was the company's resident hard man, a guy with a legitimate reputation thanks to his exploits in UFC. His style, which incorporated more strikes and submissions, was very refreshing. Ken worked for the WWE between February 1997 and September 1999. That's quite a brief run, all things considered, but he undoubtedly left a legacy. Importantly, he also left fans wanting to see more. A lot of fans expected Shamrock to transition into a top tier guy but it never quite happened. Instead, he floundered in the midcard and left to try his hand at MMA again when he realised his grap career was going nowhere fast. The door was open for Shamrock to return but he and WWE never came to terms. What Are The Odds: Probably not very good. Shamrock is now 51 years old and is broken-down thanks to decades of training, fighting and wrestling. If he was to come back, he's not going to be the performer he was in 1998, is he? Saying that, Shamrock did just fight Kimbo Slice for Bellator MMA and looks absolutely ripped for his age. He's clearly been hitting the, ahem, weight room, with a vengeance. Shamrock probably isn't the star, nor does he had a connection with current WWE fans, to warrant a big return match, but a surprise appearance in the near future would no doubt go down a treat.
