10 Greatest WWE Hell In A Cell Matches Ever
1. Shawn Michaels Vs. The Undertaker (Badd Blood 1997)
Still hard to beat the original. Michaels by now had embraced the role of punchable coward with such zeal that the idea of angry Undertaker getting him alone in a confined space made any sadist drool. Michaels took an absolute beating in this match, allowing Undertaker to maul him with chair shots, face-grating runs into the chain-link, and even a tumble off the side of the cage.
Kane's debut in the match's denouement only enhanced the overall product of the exhibition, presenting a brand new character with maximum gusto, and immediately holding him as an equal to the immovable Undertaker. All in all, the match achieved artistically, and it opened the doors for the dawning Attitude Era to continue down its anarchic path.
