10 Lamest WWE Returns

3. Kevin Nash (SummerSlam 2011)

'Big Sexy's' glacially-paced 2003 comeback to confront Triple H, Chris Jericho and Ric Flair could easily have filled this slot, but the nod goes to SummerSlam 2011 because good god, what a disaster.

CM Punk met John Cena in the night's main event as the Summer of Punk fizzled out around him. It was a fight for the right to be called Undisputed WWE Champion with Triple H as special referee and turned out to be enjoyable enough, though not a patch on their Money In The Bank classic. Punk scored a sketchy victory by pinning Cena even when his opponent's foot was on the bottom rope. There was no time to celebrate, though, because out came Triple H's big pal Nash, who took 'The Voice of the Voiceless' down with a Jackknife, thus allowing MITB winner Alberto Del Rio to rush down and successfully cash in.

A lame, lame comeback and an even lamer pay-per-view conclusion, we must never forget that Nash's needless involvement led to the Summer of Punk concluding with 'Big Sexy' texting himself. A big win for the smartest man in American wrestling; a big loss for everyone else.
