10 New Directions For WWE After WrestleMania 41

3. Then Handing The WWE Title To His Leader

WWE WrestleMania 41 The Rock John Cena

Do you smell what The Rock is cooking?

It'd be nice if 'The Great One' would actually start boiling a pot or chopping some veg to put in it, eh? You just can't be part of the biggest heel turn of this generation then swan off and skip class when it matters most. That's why this guy can see WWE booking some sort of scenario whereby John Cena hands Rocky the WWE Title. Yes, just hands it over to the 'Final Boss'.

In his sneering promo, Cena would claim he only cared about "ruining wrestling" for everybody by crushing Cody's dreams. Meanwhile, linking back to promos from before, The Rock would say that he vowed to take Cody's soul; that "soul" being the WWE Championship he fought long and hard to get, then finally seized from Roman Reigns at 'Mania 40.

'You don't take things from my family without my say so', Rock would brag.

That's when he'd reveal that he orchestrated a master plan to become WWE Champion again by convincing Cena to go rogue. What was in it for John? Well, setting a record by beating Ric Flair's 16-time haul to become a 17-time champion, that's what. Suddenly, as if by magic, it'd be The Rock who started strutting around with the WWE Title just so he could rub it in everyone's faces.

Like with anything creative, there are those who would hate this. That's probs a good thing - they're supposed to jeer and boo it. Dunno, that "soul" chat feels like it hasn't been resolved quite yet.
