However WrestleMania 32 turns out - whatever happens in the main event - Roman Reigns next feud needs to be ready to go as soon as the Triple H angle finishes. Obviously that feud could lurch on to the next special event after WrestleMania, but lets assume that it doesnt. Whos next for Roman Reigns? WWEs problem - well, one of many - is that theyve concentrated so much on the top three wrestlers on the card that theyve failed to make stars that can realistically face them. John Cena, one of the three, has made things right there by having competitive matches with men lower on the totem pole than him during his US Championship open challenge period last year, but theres no one on the roster who anyone really believes can hang with Brock Lesnar, and Reigns has a similar problem. Ideally, to keep any momentum going after a successful main event match with Triple H, Reigns will need to feud with someone new, someone roughly on his level who the fans actively despise. The problem is that no such heel exists on the WWE roster. Hes faced the Wyatts on many occasions. Kevin Owens is great, but so damn great that he might well be cheered over Reigns. The Miz isnt remotely a match for him. Sheamus has been neutered by Reigns in this latest angle, Del Rio is a step below Sheamus in the Leagues pecking order, and Rusev is a step below him. John Cena himself might be a strange but valid opponent in the post-WrestleMania season, should Reigns come away from the biggest match of his career holding the gold. Smart fans could well find themselves spontaneously combusting at the thought of both their nemeses occupying the same ring. Beyond that, its going to become difficult to find quality opponents for a babyface on Roman Reigns level but then thats WWE all over.
