Chris Jericho is over a day removed from his No Disqualification match with Kenny Omega at NJPW's Wrestle Kingdom 12. He has several weeks left to make a WWE TV return, announce himself for the Rumble and make this January an even more memorable one, but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen.

Jericho is the master of pulling wool over the eyes of fans though, so don't completely rule it out. If anything, Y2J's music will hit on January 28 and we'll all be shaking our heads at the veteran's antics yet again. As much as being wrong would rock, we can't see a Rumble berth in his future. The 2018 Rumble will move on without Chris Jericho.

Besides, it's not as though he didn't make his mark on the 2017 match. Jericho was in the ring for over 60 minutes and got to eliminate both Sheamus and Cesaro. He was truly the bout's MVP, and even found time to let Jack Gallagher play with his umbrella.
