10 Stars Who Got Ripped After They Left WWE
1. Edge
Edge's comeback story is already the stuff of legend.
Cut down in his prime back in 2011, Edge was forced to relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship and immediately retired as an active performer due to a recent diagnosis of cervical spinal stenosis. This meant that Edge risked paralysis from the neck down or even death if he took a hard enough bump.
So, that was that. Edge settled into his new life as a father and an actor.
Then some years later, after successfully surgery in 2012, Edge went to get a check up on his neck and was shocked to hear that he was back to full capacity. Eventually he was given the all clear to physically compete once again and this inspired Edge to get into the shape of his life.
Combining a mix of intense physical home workouts, utilising a full size ring provided to him by WWE and implementing meal plans from Nutrition Solutions (recommended by Rey Mysterio) all lead to Edge achieving one hell of a ripped up body by the time he shocked the world at the 2020 Royal Rumble.
Edge in 2011 was great and all, but there's a good chance that the shredded 2020 version could be even better yet.
