10 Things We Learned From Dark Side Of The Ring: Road Warriors

1. It's One Of The Weaker Episodes

As much as Hawk's lifestyle is fascinating in a car crash sort of way, it isn't given nearly enough depth by VICE here. They fired through a ton of stuff without going into insane detail like they had in prior episodes on Chris Benoit, Jimmy Snuka and more. That hurts this penultimate episode in the second series.

Some of the talking heads seem a bit random too.

For example, hearing The Godfather stop by to recant a story from Bret Hart's book about LOD giving Vince McMahon their 'Doomsday Device' finish in a club when everyone was p*ssed is weird. Why was Godfather tasked with telling this tale? Was Bret unavailable? Could VICE not ask Animal about it? Were any other witnesses unwilling to comment?

Overall, 'The Last Ride Of The Road Warriors', whilst still an entertaining show, tells a lot of stories fans are probably already aware of. The sense of mystery uncovered that pinned down earlier episodes in the series is almost totally missing.
