4. He Never Lost A Hair Or Mask Match

The biggest match in Mexico is one where either the wrestlers' mask or, if they don't wear a mask, their hair, is on the line. Mask and Hair matches are big money in Mexico. The wrestlers themselves will usually receive large payoffs for losing (especially a mask match as Lucha tradition stipulates that they must never re-mask). A Hair/Mask match is usually reserved for the end of a major feud. It's a blowoff, kind of like what Cage and Hell in a Cell matches used to be in WWE.
