10 Times WWE Wrestlers DIDN'T Get Their Dream Match
8. Ken Shamrock (Vs. Goldberg)
Ken Shamrock was a combat fighter who never truly received his due in WWE. 'The World's Most Dangerous Man' left a tremendous impact on the MMA world and went on to become a UFC Hall of Famer. Although he fought numerous main eventers and the company's future faces, like The Rock, he never captured the big belt. Furthermore, he has yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, whereas Impact Wrestling was willing to do the honors.
On the long list of competitors Shamrock battled, there was one opponent he wished he could have squared off with inside of the squared circle.
During an episode of The Angle Podcast, the martial art master revealed he always wanted to go toe-to-toe with none other than Bill Goldberg. Feeling as though their characters and in-ring styles meshed well, he told Kurt Angle facing Goldberg would be his ultimate dream match.
Unfortunately, the two never squared off, as the WCW legend didn't debut in WWE until four years after his departure. Likewise, Shamrock was busy with other things during Goldberg's most recent run with the company. Perhaps it doesn't make the top 10 dream match list of some fans, but Shamrock vs. Goldberg, especially in their primes, had the potential to be a brutal slugfest to discuss for years.
