Now, obviously this isn't to suggest some sort of Tyson Kidd full-time demotion to NXT, but some time down at the Performance Center could be really beneficial to keeping Randy Orton relevant. It'd be a win-win for WWE, having Randy Orton on a month's worth of NXTs would really drive up interest in that show, which could translate to more buys for the WWE Network. On the other hand, Randy Orton could get a feel for what the next generation really is, and what it is he'll need to do to adapt to it. Randy Orton is the epitome of a 2000s, OVW-trained guy. He represents everything WWE wanted wrestling to be in that decade, but we're not in that decade any more. Some time among the troops down in Orlando might just be what Randy Orton needs to learn to connect with the modern WWE Universe. Also, Randy Orton v Finn Balor? That's got match of the year written all over it.
