7. Roman Reigns Bust A Rib Minutes Into 'Mania 31 Main Event
WrestleMania 31 was a big night for Roman Reigns. In the main event, the man was set to take on Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Title. As aforementioned, Seth Rollins would cash in towards the end of the bout, stealing the belt away from his former associate in The Shield. That plan was formulated just hours before the match actually took place. For Reigns, this was the least of his worries. Less than 3 minutes into his biggest ever match, he reeled in agony upon realising that his ribs were damaged. Lesnar is well-known for being heavy-handed inside the ring, but his authentic physical style is an appealing part of his overall act. On this night, Reigns felt the champion's full power, and it meant he was running on adrenaline. It must have been torturous for Reigns to realise he had to perform an entire match in excruciating pain. It's a credit to his tough nature that he managed to see it through, because lesser men would have simply given up. For at least 10 minutes of the bout, Roman was hurled around the ring by Lesnar, who coined the now-famous 'Suplex City' line during the match.
