1. Wade Barrett As 'King' Of WWE
By a long way, the 'King' gimmick is one of the worst currently in WWE. Since winning the 'King Of The Ring' tournament earlier this year, Wade Barrett has actually fallen further down the pecking order. The cartoon-like royal persona does nothing for the Englishman, and the whole thing has been a colossal failure. It's not Barrett's fault necessarily, he has at least tried to work with what he's been given. However, he's been given precious little to work with. There was a time when winning the King Of The Ring tournament meant something, but WWE have portrayed the title as meaningless in 2015, and Wade Barrett has been the unfortunate soul to play the part. Several years ago, the same fate was suffered by Sheamus. It's therefore confusing, after that failure, why WWE have chosen to go down the same route. The 'King' gimmick simply does not work, and Barrett badly needs a change. Currently, his standing on the roster is at an all-time low, and he needs a quick gimmick shift in order to survive this debacle.
