Despite doing nothing of real note since his days as an Edgehead came to an end, the Long Island Iced Z's work on the internet has kept his relevant and seemingly in a job. Ryder, who does have a win on Raw in 2014 to his name, sadly tore his rotator cuff in November and was forced to miss the European tour. Instead, the self proclaimed Internet Champion travelled to Alabama to get checked out. On November 9, he took to Youtube to reveal an MRI scan confirmed he had suffered a 'full thickness tear' in his rotator cuff but was looking to avoid surgery all together. Instead, he received a stem cell injection a day later where some bone marrow was taken from his hip and inserted into his shoulder. He now is in the midst of a three week rest period before approximately five weeks of rehab. He will be looking to return around the Royal Rumble for what will surely be a make or break year.
