101 Shocking Wrestling Plans You Won't Believe Almost Happened

1. Vince Father’s Stephanie’s Child

ARGH!

Poor Stephanie McMahon had to sit there and listen to her own dad lay out a storyline that'd see him revealed as the shock father to her unborn first child in 2005. Her daughter Aurora was born in July 2006, which means Vince's sickening idea must've hatched in his mind the prior year. Stephanie was understandably horrified by all of it.

How do you even approach your own flesh and blood with something so foul?! To top it all off, daddy dearest wasn't finished when Steph pushed back and said he absolutely wouldn't be the kayfabe father of her and Triple H's kid. Vince accepted that he was a no go, then said that perhaps Shane would be a finer fit for the role anyway.

The man's lucky he didn't get a slap across the face for this sort of awful behaviour. Sure, the McMahon family melodrama had been a giant part of the WWF/WWE canon for years, and it had pulled monster business throughout the 'Attitude' days, but this was too much.

Stephanie rebuffed Shane the same way she had her dad, and WWE didn't erm...capitalise on Aurora's birth by turning it into a daytime soap opera story to forget. Steph, who was pregnant at the time, had to remind her father that this was his actual grandchild he was talking about so casually.

It's appalling that this was ever brought up in meetings.
