The nWo's run in WWE was garbage. Pure garbage. Fans wanted Hulk Hogan to go red and yellow again, Kevin Nash was injury prone and Scott Hall was a disruptive influence behind the scenes who was struggling through some terrible personal problems. On top of that, other members like Big Show, X-Pac, Booker T and Shawn Michaels came and went without much interest.

At one point, it was pitched that Nash and Michaels recruit Triple H to the group. Heading into the 'Unsanctioned Match' between HHH and HBK at SummerSlam 2002, 'Big Sexy' would've been involved and eventually brought the old Kliq members back around as partners. Thus, yet another version of the New World Order would've been born (this time melding both nWo and D-Generation X stars).

Nash's injury put paid to that, but the idea resurfaced again when Kev returned from a layoff in early-2003. That'd eventually lead to a feud between the ex-Diesel and Trips instead of an nWo direction, which might've been a mercy killing for the long-suffering-yet-originally-brilliant WCW faction.

It was a real struggle for fans to give a hoot about the nWo by '02. By '03, there's a chance something could've been salvaged due to the freshness of Michaels riding with Hunter and Nash again, but people honestly just wanted to see Shawn do his own thing and make up for lost time between 1998-2002.

Had this other nWo incarnation come together, then it would've stopped Triple H from forming Evolution with Ric Flair, Batista and Randy Orton, which is sure something to contemplate. Evolution would go on to become a real focal point on Raw.
