Nobody is going to argue against the idea that carnies are a scary proposition. Known for their manipulation and questionable morals, there are plenty of phobias that can be triggered an evil carnival character. If you're writing a horror movie, that's a damn good concept, but the idea of a carny being a WWE wrestler is something so cataclysmically bad that it could only come from the Vince McMahon era.

Vignettes began airing for Kizarny, the heel carny superstar, on the October 10th, 2008 edition of SmackDown. Various freaks, sword swallowers, and circus folk were shown on these promos as creepy clown music played in the background, as wrestler Sinn Bodhi (real name Nicholas Cvjetkovich) debuted the character, Kizarny.

Cutting a promo for his vignette using a lot of words involving the "iz" kayfabe pig latin hybrid, Kizarny's words came across as absolute gibberish. Things didn't improve once he debuted on the first SmackDown of 2009 either. He defeated MVP on that occasion, but getting zero reaction from the crowd meant that the character had no chance of making any impact whatsoever. He was let go by WWE just two months later.
