Seth Rollins had his seven-month reign as WWE World Heavyweight Champion cut short in November during a main event match-up against Kane in Dublin, Ireland. The injury could not have come at a worse time, since he was really starting to pick up steam, having put on some of the best matches seen in 2015 and emerging as WWEs new top heel, likely to stay there for years to come. He may have been booked to lose the title anyway, but there were probably still plans for him to steal the show once again at WrestleMania. Despite the unfortunate timing, the possibilities for Rollins return this coming year are endless, and fans are already counting down the days until The Architect comes back. Will he return to his role as The Authoritys poster child, or will he take offence at the speedy replacement of Sheamus in his spot and turn his back on his mentor, Triple H? Perhaps, as hinted at this past summer at Payback, we will see the reunion of Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to lay waste to the WWE roster once again as The Shield. In any case, 2015's 'Superstar of the Year' has more than earned his spot at the very top of the card whenever he makes a comeback. It should have come as no surprise to see him win the coveted Slammy Award for his efforts, and you can guarantee that hell pick things up where he left off when he returns. Whoever is holding the WWE World Heavyweight Championship when that day comes will have one hell of a challenge ahead of them.
