2 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Feb 3)

Downs...

4. Senseless Moment

AEW decided to hype a coming Dynamite bout pitting The Elite vs. AR Fox and Top Flight despite the fact Omega and The Bucks were in the midst of another match. Worse, they were defending their World Trios Titles against Ethan Page, Matt Hardy and Isiah Kassidy when that graphic popped up.

Way to make it obvious who was winning, guys. Sure, most folks knew Hardy, Page and Kassidy weren't beating The Elite anyway, but AEW should've at least tried to add some intrigue. Otherwise, what's the point of booking the match in the first place? This happened during the first minute or so too.

Excalibur, to his credit, tried to cover it up by saying "the winners of this match" would go on to wrestle for the belts at Dynamite, but...the well-meaning announcer couldn't convince. If anything, All Elite would've done themselves some favours by throwing up some silhouettes and question marks.

It's the little things.
