4 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (March 21)

1. Not How You Get A Match?

We’ve often said here that you need to disconnect your internal logic when watching WWE. If you’re looking for things that connect and make sense, you will drive yourself batty.

For example, Seth Rollins, a multi-time world champion and former WrestleMania main-eventer can’t get a match at Mania. He couldn’t even get a talk show segment because he lost a match for the right to host a talk segment on a PLE.

During his tear through Raw ranting about his designs for Mania, Rollins’ mic was cut, so he stormed into Adam Pearce & Sonya Deville’s office. Pearce said that “acting like a lunatic interrupting the show is not going to get you what you want.”

Whoa whoa whoa! This would be right, if we have just seen a series of Mania matches booked in the most asinine ways. Edge laid out an open challenge for a match at WM 38. Sami Zayn challenged Johnny Knoxville, and then added a stipulation himself.

But Friday, Deville herself added Natalya & Shayna Baszler to the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match at Mania despite the duo not winning a single televised tag match this year until Monday. Why, you ask? Because they interrupted a tag match! So yeah, apparently you can get what you want by interrupting the show.

Idiots.
