Fans tuning into WrestleMania every year expect shocking surprises, big title changes and matches so colossal they bounce off showy event posters and burst into life. Some of the best tag-team title moments at 'Mania include Demolition winning in 1990, The Hardy Boyz returning in 2017 and real life pals Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn headlining opposite The Usos in 2023.

Braun Strowman winning the Raw Tag straps with a referee's kid won't bother those timeless moments for the top tandem-based spot on future 'best of' WrestleMania lists. In 2018, at 'Mania 34, Braun teamed with official John Cone's young lad Nicholas to beat Shamus and Cesaro. A happy thrill for the Cone family, no doubt, but a tragic one for tag-team wrestling in WWE.

Ironically, Sheamus and Cesaro were collectively known as The Bar. Strowman and lil' Nic winning lowered it. Look, Nicholas likely bragged when he got back to school in front of his classmates, but booking title changes on the biggest pay-per-view of the entire year just so a 10-year old boy can boast to his mates in class is hardly a solid reason.

'What did you do over the weekend?'. 'Oh, y'know, teamed with Braun Strowman to become one half of the new Raw Tag-Team Champs - and I won't be able to make school on Monday because I've got to relinquish them in front of millions on Raw'.

Family fun or not, this shouldn't have happened. Especially at 'Mania. Mercifully, Nicholas passively besting workers (Braun did all the work) as good as Sheamus and Cesaro was kept brief.
