6 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling Sacrifice 2021

2. Oh, We're Back Here?

Havok and Nevaeh, despite only just coming back to being on the same page, appear to now be reverting back to that storyline of Nevaeh striking out on her own. She was pinned by Tenille Dashwood due to Kaleb With A K pushing Nevaeh's rollup on Tenille the opposite way, all while Havok accidentally distracted the referee. Her face after the match told a story on its own, but it just wasn't a story that needed telling.

This wasn't a great match, thanks in part to the sheer fact that the pairing of Tenille and Kaleb has run its course. That Kaleb no longer does his personal in-ring introduction for the Aussie is a sign that Impact management believe this. Their repertoire of neverending rest holds and overuse of their Instagram influencer schtick makes for an increasingly tedious watch, especially here.

The only good thing here was Havok.

She carried the match, kicking the heads off of Tenille and Kaleb, and just generally being the only wrestler here who offered any sort of decent performance. The duo of her and Nevaeh has been fine over the past year or so. They shouldn't be breaking up quite yet as the knockouts tag division needs them, but if they have to, please just end the suffering already. It's painful to watch.
