6 Ups And Downs For Last Night's WWE Raw (March 2nd)

4. A Man Married To Maryse Should Not Need Viagra

Typically when WWE tries to do humor, it falls flat and makes you embarrassed for being a wrestling fan. But Monday night, WWE managed to use just the right amount of humor to build tension and set up a WrestleMania match. Last week, Miz crashed Damien Mizdow€™s commercial shoot and took over, inserting himself into the piece without bothering to read the script or learn about the product. Naturally, when he went to publicly screen the spot, he learned that it was a Viagra-like male impotence product, Niagara, with Miz playing that impotent doofus who needs the pill. The payoff to last week€™s shenanigans worked well, and things transitioned nicely to Miz yelling at Mizdow before slapping Damien. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAqEsDdjqO4 Mizdow€™s reaction €“ and the crowd€™s rabid response €“ turned the entire segment from a joke to something deadly serious. This is one feud where it might not be official yet, but it€™s OK because fans can clearly see where this is headed, it just needs to burst at the right moment.
