8 (In)famous Fatherhood Moments In WWE History

1. Vince McMahon Fights His Daughter In An 'I Quit' Match

Stephanie Vince No Mercy

Throughout Shane and Stephanie’s lives, Vince has been keen on teaching both of them every aspect of the business. If Shane learned about the business side of things, Stephanie learned about the buisness side. If Stephanie learned the creative side of things, Shane learned the creative side of things. If Vince beat up Shane in a no holds barred match, he would beat up Stephanie in a no holds barred match... yes, really.

In 2003, Stephanie was the babyface general manager of SmackDown. She was magnanimous, level-headed, and kind to her talent. So naturally, Vince hated this and wanted her gone. Coercing her into a confrontation, the two had an 'I Quit' match at No Mercy where both of their jobs were on the line. What followed was nine-and-a-half minutes of a man beating up his daughter. Stephanie screamed in pain and begged for mercy while the audience sat there not knowing whether to cheer her on or just look away. The match only stopped when Stephanie’s mother Linda threw in the towel after Vince choked Stephanie out with a lead pipe. Yes, Vince McMahon choked out his daughter with a lead pipe.

Happy Father’s Day, everyone!
