12. Colt Cabana

Despite appearing on AEW programming towards the end of 2019, it wasn't until early 2020 that Colt "Boom Boom" Cabana formally signed with the company. Through his comedy matches and popular podcast, Cabana has carved out a very nice place for himself in wrestling history and brought a lot of eyes with him when he joined AEW.

Cabana's AEW tenure began with him aligning himself with fellow independent legends SCU in their battle against the Dark Order, although it would be the latter stable which would define Cabana's 2020.

After a losing streak got him down in the dumps, Boom Boom became the first major name to be recruited by the Dark Order. Since then, he's played a very interesting role, as he's teamed and allied himself with the Order without ever fully committing to the cult-like stable.

Cabana hasn't set the world on fire since his AEW debut, but nobody expected him to. He's a veteran, so he shouldn't be mixing it up in the main event, and this Dark Order spot is the perfect place for him.

Colt Cabana's probably not going to be a World Champion in AEW, but seeing Colt finally getting his shot on TV with a major wrestling promotion is extremely satisfying.

Scotty who?
