14. Abadon

It says a lot that Abadon's first match in AEW was against future AEW Women's Champion, Hikaru Shida. Her loss to Shida on an episode of Dark is Abadon's only defeat in the company thus far, and she's gone from strength to strength since that day in March.

The obvious talking point of this lady is her look; a fantastic homage to classic horror movies like The Ring that wouldn't be out of place on a Hollywood set. This, combined with Abadon's immersive performance, really sets her aside from every other performer on the roster.

Recently, Abadon has gone back to her old foe, Shida, this time laying claim to the Women's Championship. Receiving a championship push so early into her career is fantastic news for Abadon, but it speaks volumes about the state of AEW's women's division that their primary contender is mostly appearing on Dark.

Nevertheless, Abadon has gone from a total unknown to one of the most recognisable wrestlers in North America in the space of less than a year.

She still has a long way to go in the ring, but with a gimmick as strong as this and with the faith of AEW behind her, The Living Dead Girl has breathed new life into her career in 2020.
