Uploaded to the company's official YouTube channel on Tuesday, AEW's latest Road to Dynamite video is titled "A Special Look at CM Punks first Appearance in AEW" and features an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the 42-year-old's arrival in the promotion.

The lengthy segment starts at around 5:46 below. It features as in-depth a look at the direction of last week's episode of Rampage as you're going to see, revealing AEW's production secrets to the world:-

It serves as an interesting insight into how the crew handle moments as huge as Punk's debut, juggling camera cuts, zooms, and other pieces of trickery. These people don't always get the public praise they deserve for holding the show together, so it's nice to see them acknowledged as well.

Punk's first AEW appearance was a huge success for the promotion. The 20 August episode of Rampage's first quarter-hour (featuring the newcomer's entrance and promo) drew a monster 0.65 rating in the 18-49 demographic, with a total of 1.341 million viewers tuning in for that part of the show.

Elsewhere, videos of punk's entrance and promo currently sit at 6.8 million and 4.8 million views respectively on YouTube.
