Main Event Confirmed For Impact Wrestling Final Resolution 2020
'The Ultimate Finesser' has finally earned his World Championship shot.
Coming out of last night's Impact Wrestling, it's been confirmed that Chris Bey will receive his shot at the World Championship when he challenges Rich Swann in the main event of the next Impact Plus special on 12 December, Final Resolution.
The title contest was made following the show, which culminated in 'The Ultimate Finesser' being pinned by former rival, Willie Mack. Post-match, however, 'Chocolate Thunder' was left laid out at the hands of Moose, who was then ran off by Swann, only to be knocked off his feet himself courtesy of Bey's Art of Finesse springboard cutter. The night would end with Chris Bey standing tall with the World Championship in his possession.
Bey has wasted no time in cementing himself as one of the top contenders to Rich Swann's World Championship in the past few weeks. Swann has defended against Eric Young, Sami Callihan, and Ken Shamrock so far - all three of those men are vastly different compared to Chris Bey.
Additionally, it was announced that Ethan Page of The North will collide with one half of the World Tag Team Champions in Karl Anderson, the rule being that Page and Josh Alexander will earn a title shot from The Good Brothers should Page come out victorious.
Given that next week's Impact Wrestling is the final show before the special, expect the card to fill up.
