Paige Teases WWE Return After Returning To The Performance Center
Is the former Divas Champion's lengthy absence about to end?
It has been over a year since we last saw Paige on WWE television, but it looks like the former Divas Champion is finally on the comeback trail.
According to a write-up on WWE.com, Paige has now started her journey back to the ring, having returned to the WWE Performance Center yesterday. The update comes on the back of a cryptic Instagram update posted earlier in the day, with Paige teasing her apparent return:-
There's no word on when Paige might re-emerge on WWE television, though it's worth noting that WWE.com state that both "Raw and SmackDown" have been "put on notice." The one-time NXT Women's Champion had previously been sent to Raw as part of last year's WWE Draft, but hasn't yet appeared for the red brand, and may now be a free agent.
Paige's last appearance came in June 2016, when she and Sasha Banks wrestled Charlotte and Dana Brooke. She took an injury-related hiatus shortly after, before incurring two Wellness Policy violations, then undergoing successful neck surgery in October.
Paige has endured a turbulent year, leading to speculation that she may never return, but now looks to be on her way back to WWE.
