Ridge Holland was doing OK for himself in NXT as Pete Dunne’s associate before he was drafted to SmackDown this fall.

Like several other newcomers, Holland didn’t debut immediately, finally showing up last month and professing his admiration of Sheamus, and then helping the Celtic Warrior win a match. But then, when Ridge had his in-ring debut, he promptly lost to Cesaro in less than three minutes.

Obviously, it’s still early for the rookie, but again, debuting with a loss and then disappearing from TV for a few weeks is never a good sign. Roman Reigns’ entrance each week gets more TV time than Holland has the past month.
