5. Brock Lesnar vs. CM Punk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Md6Weuf4dss Two Paul Heyman guys who clashed at SummerSlam in what many consider to be the Match of the Year. Punk never got a rematch to avenge his loss to Lesnar, instead continuing his rivalry with his former manager by competing against other Heyman Guys in Curtis Axel and Ryback. As far back as January everything was in place for WWE to make this the main event championship match if they so desired. Brock Lesnar had returned and labelled himself the number one contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against the winner of the Royal Rumble championship clash between Randy Orton and John Cena. In doing so, he and Heyman also said that any previous rivalries were unimportant to them, immediately dismissing the possibility of Punk or the fans getting the rematch they desired. Lesnar could have faced the winner of the Orton-Cena match at Elimination Chamber as WWE had suggested would happen, and won the championship to head to WrestleMania with the title. CM Punk on the other hand had been placed in the Royal Rumble as man number one, making a Rumble win seem impossible. But driven by his desire to main event WrestleMania and prove he is the Best in the World he could have gone on to win anyway and in the process become the third man to do the Iron Man task of winning from the first spot. Who better for Punk to prove his worth to than new champion Brock Lesnar, the man who he has faced only once and lost? Add in the verbal sparring between Punk and Heyman and this feud would have been more than worthy of headlining the thirtieth WrestleMania.
