1. Daniel Bryan vs Randy Orton (Street Fight) 6/24/2013 Charleston, South Carolina
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNOdbjI4ZLk From time to time on the WWE app, fans get it right. The fans were given the choice of a Lumberjack Match, Street Fight or Falls Count Anywhere. Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton were at the climax of their face vs face feud, and needed a definitive match to prove who the better man was. What better match than a street fight? Chair shots to the head, power bombs through tables and kendo sticks being used in every way imaginable, told the story of Daniel Bryan, who was trying to prove he was not the weak link in Team Hell No, and Randy Orton a man who was reaching a breaking point in his current face run. Leading into this match Orton and Bryan had met several times where matches had to be stopped, or did not finish decisively. What this match series ended up being was a test for the main event run these two engaged in, late in 2013. Bryan vs Orton was truly the shining part of WWEs post Wrestlemania season, and would end up being the in ring rivalry of the year. Bryans intensity and Ortons ruthlessness split fans down the middle, as each man delivered moves that came straight out of an ECW match. The power bomb Bryan gave Orton through a table would be matched by the vicious T-Bone suplex he received from The Viper. Somewhere around the 12 minute mark, this match began to morph from a Monday Night Raw match into an all-out war. These two began wearing the kendo stick like an outfit accessory. The RKO was reversed into a backslide out of nowhere, before Bryan was able to lock in the No Lock. A regular No Lock is hard enough to escape, but Bryan showed his viciousness by adding the kendo stick into the hold, forcing Orton to submit. At this time, Daniel Bryan was not expected to beat Randy Orton clean. You tapped out chants came at Orton when the chant really should have been, You made way. As in, You made a way for Daniel Bryan to be looked at as a legitimate top star. When Orton walked away from the ring there was a cold glare in his eyes. He was humbled, and had some serious soul searching to do as he looked to win the Money in The Bank briefcase 3 weeks later. This was the finest match on Monday Night Raw in 2013, due to the incredible wrestling both men displayed, the violence and the stunning outcome. Daniel Bryan vs Randy Orton would be a staple of 2013, with this match being the zenith of their rivalry.
