WWE Clash In Paris 2025: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True
3. Brock Lesnar Goes Rinse And Repeat
Listen closely to fan chatter in the concourses in Paris and you'll probably hear some fans pondering whether or not Brock Lesnar will be in the house as they browse WWE's merchandise stalls. Some will think it's an impossibility, whilst others may reason that 'anything can happen'. They'd be right to think that, 'cause not many predicted Brock's comeback at SummerSlam.
A rinse and repeat bit of booking though? Would that really satisfy the WWE daft French throngs? Paris would absolutely pop if Lesnar showed up at Clash on Sunday, but Triple H must be wary of booking an identical PLE moment to the one fans witnessed back at SummerSlam. That feels lazy and boring, and it wouldn't exactly power the Brock vs. John Cena feud forwards.
He's already hit the ring to stun a paralysed Cena with his F5, so doing that all over again would only make John look like a tool. After all, why would he stand there with his feet glued to the mat as Lesnar patrolled outside the ring before dashing in for another bit of finisher spam? There's no need to make renewed babyface JC look like a moron who doesn't see it coming.
If anything, he should be on high alert given what happened in New Jersey. Nah, keep Lesnar away from Clash In Paris. WWE fans in France who haven't witnessed 'The Beast' hit an F5 live will just have to take a trip to Wrestlepalooza for that, or save up the $3m needed for tickets to the US for one of his subsequent PLE appearances after that.
Repeating SummerSlam's spot would be naff.
