WWE Greatest Royal Rumble Wrestlers - Where Are They Now?
12. Titus O'Neil
Entry: #39
Time: 04:42
Then: Where to start with ol' Titus?! He slid his way into everyone's hearts and minds by falling over and almost braining himself when he entered as #39 in 2018's Greatest Royal Rumble. Indeed, Corey Graves asked on commentary whether or not O'Neil was about to slide all the way under the ring and crash into the announce desk.
The guy surely considered just living under that ring forever. He had to be mortified about what had just happened. Titus stumbled, then went headfirst right under the apron, and he's actually pretty lucky he didn't smash his head against one of the steel supports underneath. The botch looked funny, but it could've been disastrous for him.
No-one could stop laughing. 5 mins or so later, Braun Strowman was sending Titus back up the ramp. He was supposed to do little worth talking about in the GRR, but O'Neil ended up meme-ing himself for life.
Now: O'Neil hasn't worked a lick in-ring since losing to Bobby Lashley on the 8 November 2020 edition of flagship show Raw. He's a global ambassador behind the scenes for WWE, and the dude is well liked for his generous charity work and friendly outlook on life. He might never need to wrestle again.
He certainly shouldn't take anymore headers down the ramp, that's for sure. Being fair to him, he did take the embarrassment in good stride and didn't try to hide from it. Titus didn't have a prayer there anyway - social media lit up with clips of him falling then diving under the ring.
