WWE: NXT's Arrival Will Lead To 7 Major Departures
5. Christian
Unfortunately, Christian's wish of that one final big match may never come true. He was a late scratch as one of the 30 participants in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal this past Sunday at WrestleMania 30. He's missed a lot of time over the last year battling multiple concussions, which most likely will lead to his retirement. Edge and Christian's rise in the WWE came through the tag team ranks. They revolutionized tag team wrestling, along with The Hardy Boys and The Dudleys', in their epic Tables, Ladders and Chairs matches. Some say they stole the show at WrestleMania 17, in their triple threat TLC match. This is some feat considering that WrestleMania is considered the best card from top to bottom. While Edge and Christian both went on to success as singles stars, they got their break as a tag team. There's only one tag team you think of when it comes to NXT, and that of course is The Ascension. Viktor and Konnor are the first NXT Tag Team Champions, and they have easily defeated all comers. They did make their WWE Live debut at Madison Square Garden prior to WrestleMania, and wouldn't be surprised if they get the call up soon.
