10 Things You Need To Know About Oscar Isaac's Moon Knight
1. He Can Often Be His Own Worst Enemy
Although Marc tries to follow Khonshu's advice, this isn't always the case. Sometimes, he hears Khonshu's voice, not realising it is simply one of his personalities. Occasionally, another divine being will impersonate Khonshu to trick Marc into committing atrocities.
Sometimes, Marc is simply a victim of his own mind. When the heroes of New York tried to take down Kingpin, they ordered Marc to infiltrate his base by pretending to be his henchmen. Because of his unstable mind, Marc convinced himself he WAS Kingpin's assassin. He tracked down Spider-Man, beat him unconscious, and had the Kingpin unmask him.
However, Moon Knight can actually be at his most dangerous when following Khonshu's orders. When the moon god became convinced the world was ending, he convinced his disciple to steal the Avengers' powers to help him destroy all evil.
At first, Marc accepted, since he is compelled to obey his god. But after realising Khonshu had lost his way, Marc turned against him. To get around this, Khonshu made Marc hallucinate so he believed he was fighting demons when he was actually fighting the Avengers.
Marc may have the best intentions but his unpredictability and connection with Khonshu makes him unreliable and difficult to trust.
