If you read a handful of Fantastic Four comics, you're sure to know Ben Grimm loves his Aunt Petunia. He adores his dear old aunt so much, he can't go five minutes without mentioning her. She is such a big part of his life, it's hard to imagine how we would react if something terrible happened to her.

Sadly, we learned exactly how he would react after the Fantastic Four encountered The Marquis of Death.

In typical supervillain fashion, the Marquis declared he had come to wipe the FF off the face of the Earth. Reed Richards pointed out that even if the Marquis succeeded, he would be stopped by other superheroes such as the Avengers or the X-Men. When Ben teased that his Aunt Petunia could defeat him, the Marquis took him up on his offer.

Teleporting to the home of Ben's aunt, the Marquis slaughtered Petunia with a wave of his hand. Reducing her to a skeleton, he displayed her bones to Ben before saying, 'Do you have any more witticisms you would like to share?' Powerless to save his aunt, Ben dropped to his knees in utter defeat.
